Venue 102 is a family owned and operated industrial inspired Event Center located in Downtown Edmond, Oklahoma. Originally, the building was constructed for use as a warehouse for the Framers Grain Co. The intent was to keep a part of Edmonds history intact which was the driving force behind the industrial design.
Together, Cy and Andrea Mills are the vision and faces behind Venue 102! They are a pair of God loving, dog obsessed, adventure seeking individuals just trying to add to the growth of their community!
Cy and Andrea met in 2014 and married in 2016. While planning their own wedding, they realized how many restraints were put on them from their biggest vendor, the venue! When deciding on the framework for Venue 102, they designed it to act as a “blank slate” with the intention to have the least amount of restrictions on clients as possible! The goal is to always allow individuals the freedom to express their creativity so their event matches their personality.
Cy was born and raised in Emond and graduated from college as a Texas Aggie (whoop!). After college, Cy took to the service industry with a specialty in wine. He began as the beverage manager with Vast, creating their wine list, and eventually moving to Flint when they first opened. With a love for the outdoors and the hospitality industry, he moved to Boulder Colorado to work at Frasca Food and Wine under a Master Sommelier. After gaining years of experience, he decided it was time to bring his knowledge and expertise back home!
Andrea was born and raised in Fraser Michigan and is a huge Wolverine fan (Go Blue!). She has a degree in education and has always had a love for teaching the growing mind. As she grew up, Andrea always searched for the next adventure. When she met Cy she knew that would be her greatest one yet! Cy and Andrea relocated from Colorado to Oklahoma to start a new adventure together. As plans for the venue were underway, Andrea realized she had an eye for detail, decor and ambiance and decided to run with it! Having grown up in a small suburb of Detroit, that helped to lay a foundation of inspiration for reviving an industrial setting. Her goal was to create a unique atmosphere that has the ability to cater to all types of events. In 2019 Andrea was able to leave her job as an educator and start full time managing Venue 102.
Together, they have handcrafted the Venue they have always wanted and can’t wait share it with you!
